Prince Levy, is a successful business executive and serial entrepreneur from Jacksonville, FL who has spent over 25 years in the entertainment business, which includes being a member of the Grammy Recording Academy – Atlanta Chapter. His attention-to-detail, innovative ideas and keen eye for talent have been major components to his success. He began in the industry in 1991, assisting with development of promotion and marketing strategies for NBA Pre-Season Games beginning in El Paso, TX. Based upon his dedication and ability to get-it-done, he was recruited to support street promotion teams for several long-running plays such as ‘A Good Man Is Hard to Find’, ‘Momma Don’t’ , and a Tyler Perry stage production titled ‘I Know I’ve Been Changed’ just to name a few…His business acumen soon caught the eye of Record Executives and Record A&R Representatives (Epic, MCA, Uptown, Bad Boy, Sony 550, Tommy Boy and Slip N’ Slid) who engaged him for Promotion and Tour support for their Artist Roster servicing Central and North Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina regions. After serving in this capacity he then moved on to start The Levy Group in 2009 beginning the company’s focus on Artist Management, Music and Independent Film Production. Within the first couple of years of inception he supported the release of ‘Secret Place’ by Contemporary Jazz Saxophonist Aaron Bing. His client Aaron toured extensively in 2011 as an opening act for MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly. Aaron and was considered in 2 categories for the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012 for his new CD titled ‘Rebirth’ (Album of the Year and Best Pop Instrumental Album). In 2013, Prince went on to Co-Produce another successful project titled ‘Heart Beatz’ by Bassist/Songwriter Michael Norwood. Followed by his Production work on an independent film release titled ‘Last Night’ directed by Independent Film Maker Harold Jackson III, which earned several awards in addition to an American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Award in 2015.
The next stop on the business venture road for Prince, has led him to support the launch of Talent Room Entertainment (TRE). Founded in 2018, by Grammy Nominated Producer and Artist – Glenn Jones, TRE is a new independent music, media and entertainment company based in Atlanta, GA. TRE is home to new and talented writers, producers, musicians and vocalist. Even as a new start-up entity, the TRE Label has already celebrated the release of its first music project titled “Love By Design”, with many more exciting music and entertainment projects to follow…
