Michael Norwood is a versatile bassist and songwriter and makes one-of-a-kind unique and handcrafted guitars to order. Norwood is truly a rare find and talent in the today’s music industry. He has performed and shared the stage with many industry legends which includes Grammy and American Music Award artists such as Crystal Nicole, Herbie Hancock, Norman Brown, The Rippingtons, Charlie ‘Uncle Charlie’ Wilson, Marcus Miller, Karen Clark-Sheard, Algebra Blessett and Glenn Jones. 

Michael’s first release was titled “Heart Beatz”, and it enjoyed a successful launch with several performance dates nationally. He quickly began receiving critical acclaim for his efforts. Michael’s talent caught the attention of Talent Room Entertainment and Publishing Executive’s and after one meeting the deal was signed. 

Norwood’s musical prowess extends beyond the world of talented instrumentalists, as Norwood’s re-mix and new single, “People Make the World Go Round,” features superstar Glenn Jones. Norwood and Jones’ soulful rendition of The Stylistics’ classic showcases both of their talents. Norwood’s provocative strums tames the sounds from his instrument that is sure to touch your spirit and Jones’ tremendous vocal ability layers each musical note to deliver and move the listener’s ears with pure joy. “This song is more than a catchy groove with a melodic hook. It speaks of hard-working people taking a stand for what they believe in and want out of life,” says Norwood. 

This latest project highlights Michael’s producing and songwriting ability and his future is golden. He continues to receive support from industry professionals such as music engineers Kenneth Andres from AmazeMix Media and Glenn Schick from Glenn Schick Mastering, among others. 

Standing tall at 6’7, Norwood is known to captivate audiences far and wide with his soulful stage presence, charisma, and raw musical talent. The Atlanta-based musician is focused on staying in the forefront of the musical landscape for the long haul.
